Tribe

Transformice tribes, often known as clans or guilds, are organizations of mice with the ability to mass-chat to each other. All tribes can be found on the tribe leaderboard on Formice.com and are ranked from best to worse.

Tribes cost 500 cheese to create. A mouse from the tribe with recruitment powers can then invite other mice. If a tribe recruiter invites you to join their tribe, a pop-up window will appear and you will be asked if you would like to join.

Currently, tribes have no other function but to show that a group of mice belong together and allow them to group chat with each other without being in the same room. The /t command allows you to chat within your tribe. Joining a tribe with many members usually results in having your chat box spammed with messages, however as of update 0.114a, the command /mt means you can mute your tribe chat.

Tribe members can see what room the other members are in, even if they are not registered on each other's friend lists. Tribe members can also receive "ranks" from the leader or co-leader of the tribe. These ranks gives the member abilities to change the tribe by: recruiting; changing tribe members' ranks; changing the abilities attributed to each rank; and changing the welcome message.

To leave a tribe, members can go to the tribe screen and press the X beside their name. Also some tribe either drop you a rank or kick you out if you ask for a higher rank.

The creator of a tribe is able to design and function the tribe. He/she is able to modify the member's rights (giving permissions to the tribes ranks-Ex. Cooker-Exclude Members, Invite Members) and able to validate the greeting message. This is the message that is shown in green letters everytime you login to Transformice. A greeting message also always starts with a "[^_^]", whether the tribe wants it to or not. (Ex. [^_^]Welcome!)

You can play the game normally without creating or joining a tribe. You may have a tribe meeting room. To "tribe talk",type /t *what you would like to say to your tribe*

How, and where to find a tribe to join

You may have a friend who is in a tribe, so you can ask him/her, or you can go to a large room and ask if you can join a tribe. You can also go to the Transformice forums and go the the tribes subforum of your language. You can reasearch on the forums to find tribes, and their leader, server, room, and all, and you can go to [[1]http://cheese.formice.com/leaderboard/tribes] and the top tribes will be there to find what room and sever there on and see who you can have recruit you.

/musique		Allows you to play music without a radio in the Tribe House. Enter a music link after typing /musique.
/rt user		Invites specified user to your tribe. (Note: Only works for users with Recruiting Abilities.)
/tk user		Excludes a mouse of your tribe. (Note: Only works for users with Excluding Abilities.)		Allows you to play music without a radio in the Tribe House. Enter a music link after typing /musique.
/mt	To mute the Tribe. (Meaning, you cannot hear them.)
